During my daily spring hikes in the woods hereabouts, I don’t see many Canada Warblers. (I hear they’re declining in numbers, in fact, due to a loss of their preferred forest habitat.) So it was nice to encounter this one on a recent mid-May day—even nicer that it posed for a photograph.
